The increasing needs for fertility preservation and treatment in patients with malignant diseases and recent advancements in treatment strategies for male and female patients will be discussed in this symposium bringing together specialists for different fields in medicine and science who are interested in infertility and cancer.
OBJECTIVES
After attending this course, the participants will have an updated knowledge on:
- The epidemiology and biology of malignant diseases in patients during their reproductive period.
- The impact of cancer treatment on the gonads.
- The effects of infertility treatments on the incidence of cancer.
- The effect of infertility treatments on patients with malignancies. (breast and gynecological malignancies).
- The new advancements in fertility preservation in male and female cancer patients.
