The program is timed to coincide with the Fertility Society of Australia’s Annual Scientific Meeting which has a theme of fertility preservation.
This symposium will look more closely at the area of fertility preservation, in those with malignant disease. The program is designed to benefit clinicians, scientists and paramedical staff involved in the treatment of reproductive and oncological disorders.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this symposium, participants will understand and identify the issues in provision of reproductive advice and services to individuals and couples faced with fertility damaging treatment for malignant disease.
These will include:
- Mechanisms of fertility loss with treatment
- Options for preservation of fertility for individuals
- Risks and consequences of fertility preservation techniques
- Relative options for fertility restoration in survivors

Clinicians, scientists, nurses and paramedical staff involved in the treatment of reproductive and oncological disorders.
