This meeting provided a forum for interested physicians and clinical embryologists to exchange ideas and current concepts in reproductive medicine. The course reviewed main aspects of reproductive endocrinology for female and male infertility. Clinical aspects as well as latest aspects at the gamete laboratory were discussed. There were several free interactive sessions representing the state-of-the-art for the specialty.
OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this symposium, the participant was able to:
- Describe the appropriate diagnostic steps and management for a wide range of reproductive disorders.
- Identify the optimal clinical strategies for avoiding high order multiple pregnancies.
- Understand the challenges presented to clinical practice by emerging research, development and technology in reproductive health care.
- Evaluate the current strategies for embryo transfer at different stages of development from pronuclear to blastocyst.
