Fertility treatment: from the past to the future

Over the last decades human IVF has been deeply developed and ART procedures, from ovarian stimulation to embryo transfer, have been considerably improved. These improvements nowadays offer a variety of opportunities for infertility management and treatment including tools aimed to improve the compliance.

The aim of this conference was to address criteria that can guide the tailoring of protocols and an appropriate use of tools to individualize treatments and achieve the best clinical results.

The program of this event was been therefore designed to allow knowledge and experience sharing between speakers and participants as well as to identify the best strategies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this conference, participants will be:

  • Updated on IVF epidemiology, demographics in Europe as well as on EU recommendations;
  • Updated on laboratory procedures related to ART methodologies;
  • Able to use of gonadotrophins in ovarian stimulation on a patient tailored basis;
  • Able to analyze the potential markers of ovarian response;
  • Able to interact and discuss with couples in order to improve patient’s compliance.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This programme is targeted to clinicians, scientists and, potentially, to other healthcare professionals working on infertility treatment.
