Amsterdam, Netherlands
February 6, 2003

Implementing a Quality Management System in ART has proven to be a valuable tool for increasing the efficiency of a medical institution as well as a positive step towards maximizing ART outcomes. This symposium brought together many of the people who have pioneered the introduction of formal Quality Management Systems into ART. The meeting was small, informal and participative and there is a strong emphasis on learning from practical examples of others. This was achieved through a mix of presentations, panel discussion and case studies.
