Learning about
Implantation - The Hidden Frontier

Sydney, Australia
October 22, 2006

This meeting is a satellite symposium to the Fertility Society of Australia’s 25th Annual Scientific Meeting being held October 22-25, 2006 at the Sheraton on the Park, Sydney, Australia.

The biology of human embryo implantation and associated disorders remain an area poorly understood, and impossible to examine in the human in-vivo setting.

Nonetheless, this process is pivotal to the propagation of our species. Additionally, the successful encouragement and management of this process is vital to the successful treatment of infertility.

This meeting will draw upon the expertise of local and international researchers in the field, to review areas such as:

  • Biology of normal endometrium and implantation
  • New insights into endometriosis
  • The medical management of the luteal phase
  • Disorders of the luteal phase, implantation and early pregnancy development.
