A multitude of recent studies and symposia identifying important molecular and cellular mediators of the implantation process may have direct applications in clinical reproductive technologies. This symposium on the endometrium and embryo implantation, reviewed the most recent advances in endometrium and embryo implantation, the complex process of implantation, and clinical conditions that optimize embryo implantation.
OBJECTIVES
After attending this course, the participants had an updated knowledge on:
- physiologic aspects on the endometrium and the implantation window
- embryo implantation and placentation
- immunology of implantation
- optimization of embryo implantation
