Biography
Dr. Kim L. Thornton received her M.D. from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Following a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Thornton completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Yale University.
She formerly served as the Associate Director of In Vitro Fertilization and the Director of the Anonymous Egg Donor program at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she practiced for over seven years.
In addition to academic appointments at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Thornton is also an active author and lecturer. She has conducted research for various pharmaceutical companies and is a consultant on the FDA Device Panel.

Biography
Carol Lesser, MSN, RNP is a Fertility and Gynecologic Nurse Practitioner at Boston IVF in Brookline, Massachusetts. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Cornell University, her BSN from SUNY at Stony Brook School of Nursing and her MSN from Boston College Graduate School of Nursing. She holds national certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. In addition to providing nursing care to patients, Ms. Lesser is a published author and a national speaker at IVF nursing programs.
