This symposium is designed to improve the working knowledge and skills of clinicians treating patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The programme will discuss the way forward to optimizing treatment in MS in an interactive educational setting.
OBJECTIVES
The attendees will:
- review the latest clinical data that evaluate the role of disease-modifying therapies in the management of patients with MS
- examine the broader concept of optimizing treatment and care
- discuss the influence that modes of action, dosing regimen, MRI and antibodies can have on clinical benefit
- review and explore future disease management strategies

Clinicians managing patients with MS.
This course is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.be.
“The way forward to optimizing treatment in MS? An international evidence-based-medicine debate” is designated for a maximum of 9 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
