AIM OF THE WORKSHOP
The objective of this workshop is to provide participants with sufficient information about Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in order to ensure optimal disease and treatment management for persons with MS.
OBJECTIVES
At the end of the workshop, the attendees will:
- Review the current diagnostic criteria for MS and the ongoing developments;
- Describe the benefits of diagnostic tools, such as MRI or biological markers, in defining the natural history of MS and monitoring disease activity;
- Review the latest clinical data evaluating the role of disease modifying agents;
- Demonstrate basic competency with treatment optimization concepts and approaches.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is designed mainly for clinicians and scientists as well as other clinical professionals who are interested in or working with Multiple Sclerosis.
