This is an educational program created to encourage the dissemination of scientific knowledge among nurses from all over the world in the field of MS.
Presentations will provide the latest information in Multiple Sclerosis in the following areas: disease management with a particular regard to the latest advances and treatment with experimental therapies, urinary deficiency, disability, pain problem symptoms and psychosocial & cognitive aspects both from the physician and nurse perspective.
The central role of the nurse in the research lab and in the management of patient’s disease will also be highlighted.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this workshop, the participant will:
- Have a better understanding of the organizational aspects of experimental therapies in Multiple Sclerosis;
- Better understand aspects of cognition deficiency correlated with all quality of life domains;
- Be able to examine current practice in dealing with Advanced Disease Management.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Nurses involved in the treatment of persons with Multiple Sclerosis.
