This course was designed for health care providers in subspecialty training as well as practicing clinicians seeking a current review of endocrine problems affecting children.
OBJECTIVES
At the conclusion of this course, participants were able to:
- Review present diagnostic criteria for precocious puberty.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of new therapeutic findings in GnRH-dependent and GnRH-independent precocious puberty.
- Survey growth problems management in detail and discuss a wide range of laboratory, clinical and therapeutic aspects in pubertal delay.
- Give an up-to-date evaluation of thyroid pathologies in childhood and adolescence.
- Discuss clinical pediatric cases concerning significant endocrine pathologies.
