This two-day educational programme is designed to promote the exchange of ideas and research collaboration in paediatric endocrinology by bringing together investigators and clinicians from across the world.

OBJECTIVES

After attending this conference, the participants will have enhanced knowledge on:

  • Newly recognised mechanisms of pathogenesis in various disorders of the hormonal system in children and adolescents.
  • New means of treatment and analysing outcomes.
  • How to identify epidemiological investigations in rare childhood disorders of the hormonal system.
  • New results in the pathogenesis of specific hormonal disturbances in childhood at the cellular/molecular level.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Paediatric endocrinologists, diabetologists, promising young scientists and clinicians directly involved in the care of children and adolescents with hormonal disorders.

This course is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide CME credits to medical specialists for the following CME activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.be.
