5th Workshop On Clinical Paediatric Endocrinology

This workshop was designed to provide the most current information on scietific research, medical treatment and clinical management for physicians and other health care professionals. The program was enhanced through the exchange of ideas and research collaboration in Paediatric Endocrinology, bringing together investigators and clinicians from all parts of Europe and the USA.

Paediatric endocrinologists, diabetologists, scientists and clinicians directly involved in the care of children and adolescents with hormonal disorders benefited from this workshop.

OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this workshop, the participant was able to:

  • Acquire insight into newly recognized mechanisms of pathogenesis in various disorders of the hormonal system in children and adolescents.
  • Discuss new means of treatment and analyzing outcomes.
  • Identify epidemiological investigations in rare childhood disorders of the hormonal system.
  • Describe new results in the pathogenesis of specific hormonal disturbances in childhood at the cellular/molecular level.
