The Australasian Society for Dermatology Research (ASDR) is a not for profit organisation whose mission is to promote dermatology research in Australia. Affiliated with the Society of Investigative Dermatology in the USA and the Japanese Society for Dermatology Research, the ASDR unites clinicians and scientists participating in Dermatology Research. The third Annual Scientific Meeting of the ASDR will be held immediately prior to the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian College of Dermatologists.
The focus of the ASDR meeting is original scientific research, including basic skin biology, cutaneous immunology, stem cell research and pharmacology and is different to the clinical focus of the ACD meeting. The ASDR meeting will provide a forum for dermatologists, immunologists and other medical practitioners to present their research alongside senior scientists and junior researchers.
